TERMS AND CONDITIONS
On requesting our service it is understood that you are to accept and abide
by our terms and conditions!
Terms of payment : Dellsound expect payment within 30 days from sending the
invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If on attending we deem your site to be of an unacceptable danger to our workers
we will immediately withdraw for the site and charge you travel and time encured
costs.
A competent person shall be provided by the customer to meet our technician, to
advise on any site safety information needed and any potential hazards when
working at the customers premises and to also ensure the availability of
appliances for pat testing.
We do not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse at work and we will immediately
withdraw form the site and you will be charged work carried out and costs.
The ownership of test results remains the property of Dellsound until all
invoices are paid in full.
All IT equipment will only be given a formal visual inspection unless other
tests are specifically asked for by the responsible person.
IT equipment must be shut down by the responsible person before any tests can
take place.
Only tests that our testing personnel think are appropriate for the IT equipment
will be undertaken.
IT equipment must be re-started or booted-up by the responsible person or
designated person acting on their behalf.
Our personnel will not shut down or restart IT systems.
Dellsound accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage for appliances that
are not made available or are inaccessible during the agreed test / inspection
period.
The customer shall ensure that any critical data has been protected
backed up prior to the start inspection and pat testing.
Dellsound provides insurance cover for public liability. No liability is
accepted for business interruption loss of data or business information , losses
to business related services or loss to business profits.
Dellsound accepts no liability for injury loss or damage for appliances that are
found to be faulty before or after pat testing.
All pat testing is carried out solely at appliance owners risk.
No responsibility will be taken for the loss of information form IT equipment
tested by Dellsound staff.
You need to make all in service items available to us to test eg: a large bottle
chiller with a plug at the back may need moving or emptying to allow access
under the plug . Items buried at the back of cupboards must be made available
etc. rooms must be unlocked for access. Because the IEE code of practice for
In-service Inspection and testing of electrical equipment does not deal with the
legislation relating to the supply of equipment whether new or second hand , to
a third party by way of sale or other method Dellsound will not test any
equipment which is indented for supply to a third party any equipment made
available for supply at any time after being tested by Dellsound will null and
void the test results.
Any previous records of test must be made available to Dellsound before testing
begins.
